CEO of CanopyLAB elected as new Vice-Chair of DI Digital

Sahra-Josephine Hjorth, Co-founder of CanopyLAB, has been elected Vice-Chairman of the Board of The Confederation of Danish Industry’s (DI’s) membership community DI Digital.

At the general meeting held on Monday, June 7th, 2021, Sahra-Josephine Hjorth, CEO and co-founder of CanopyLAB was elected as Vice-Chairman of the Board of DI Digital, which is DI’s industry community for IT, telecommunications, electronics, robotics, and media companies.

“I am proud to represent the SME-, startup- and scaleup segment, which are essential parties in the recovery of the Danish economy after the COVID-19 pandemic. We are the catalysts of the digitalization of Denmark. I am interested in how we get the new Danish IT companies to stay in Denmark as they scale, how we facilitate that they create jobs in Denmark and ultimately IPO in Denmark.

 

“I am excited to make a difference in this role. My key issues are increasing digitalization with people and problem-solving at the center of innovation. I am passionate about establishing greater trust between the IT industry, Danish politicians and citizens, ”says Sahra-Josephine Hjorth.


Sahra-Josephine Hjorth will take over as Vice-Chairman of DI Digital’s Board of Directors with immediate effect, where the chairmanship also consists of André Stelsig Rogaczewski, CEO, Netcompany A / S (Chairman) and Bo Lybæk, CEO, GPV International A / S (Vice-Chairman).
