The 2030Now project consists of a coffee table book and poster exhibition curated by the multi channel agency and publishing house LIFE Exhibition. The UN 17 sustainable development goals are the theme for 2030Now and the project explores a world shaped by the 17 SDGs. Global artists, scientists, activists, celebrities, business leaders, and politicians are featured in the book with a foreword by UN General Secretary Ban Ki-moon alongside the world famous photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand who is the artist behind the images which is donated to the project. In addition, 2030Now has partnered with leading companies and foundations such as Grundfos, Dansk Energi and CARE.
2030NOW had a vision to reach the youth in Denmark with their project and approach to the global questions related to the 17 SDGs. They already did powerful campaigns consisting of large outdoor exhibitions and a poster campaign where posters for each of the 17 SDGs were sent to all Danish schools. However, in order to make a bigger impact with this target audience, the 2030NOW team decided to create engaging and motivating digital learning experiences to support the physical elements in the campaign. For this challenge they chose CanopyLAB.

As the CanopyLAB platform invites into various ways of interacting with serious and diffuse topics such as the SDG’s a White Label specifically aimed at the target group was an obvious solution. The 2030NOW White Label contains 18 individual courses, each for one goal as well as an introduction course, and each course is divided into three units: Think, Create, Act!
The entire project was launched at Denmark’s Democratic Festival and featured in the nation-wide news. The 2030Now learning platform will reach more than 2000 public schools and high schools in Denmark during the fall of 2019.
