A Partnership between The Valkyrie Endeavour and CanopyLAB

Who is The Valkyrie Endeavour?
The Valkyrie is an NGO non-profit that was born on the dream of sharing knowledge and skills to empower women worldwide. The focus is feminine empowerment through a 3 C approach: courses, coaching, and content. Currently, the Valkyrie is a one woman show, but there are more people interested in joining the team in Brazil and in Uganda as instructors and members of the board.

The Valkyrie´s objective is sharing skills in 5 areas:

  1. Business
  2. Sustainability
  3. Personal development
  4. STEM
  5. Entrepreneurship & innovation

We believe in a “circular education”, meaning that skills and knowledge should be shared.

We believe in a “circular education”, meaning that skills and knowledge should be shared. Knowledge has no value if it is stuck with only one group of people. We believe that knowledge should flow to flourish. We want to inspire women to be anything they want in spite of the challenges that they can face in their daily routine.

Our Approach
Our approach is a 3 C approach: courses, coaching, and content.
The courses are inspirational courses, therefore they are focused on building soft skills, empowerment and giving different examples as a learning tool.

We believe that there is an opportunity to make a positive impact in the world when we share our knowledge and empower others to be their best versions, like this we can empower people, communities, economy and even sustainability.

The collaboration with CanopyLab gave us the opportunity to reach women worldwide and a user-friendly tool that enabled us to humanize the skills in order to support the students individual learning style. We use several types of exercises and make students engage with the real world and the platform, therefore we multiply the learning opportunities for these women.

Results
Currently we have 3 courses online: Start your business, Public speaking and Impostor Syndrome.

The courses are available in English but they will also be developed in Portuguese, Spanish and French. The course can be for anyone but it’s focused on women, especially those in developing countries that have challenges in having role models or soft skills inspirational education.

At CanopyLAB we designed a simple and social platform for digital learning experiences.
