The purpose of The LAB is to have a free space where youth and NGOs can come together to learn. We want to democratize learning and make it possible for every young person to learn, develop and broaden their ideas and understandings of often overlooked and neglected topics.

You can find courses on many topics: The UN Agenda 2030’s Sustainable Development Goals, including on: wellness and mental health, entrepreneurship, sexual and reproductive rights, sustainability, and much more. Find out more about our courses here.

All courses are online and asynchronous (on-demand), in other words, you can start as soon as you sign up.

While  the courses offered in The LAB are not certified, we may offer content produced by accredited institutions.

All the LAB courses are offered free of charge; course content is offered through our online platform  so that you can get started as soon as you sign up.

To sign up for a new account:

1. Go to https://student.canopylab.com   
2. Click Sign up at the bottom of the sign-in form
3. Fill in your information or use single sign-on from Facebook or LinkedIn
4. Accept the terms of use and click the Sign up button.
5. You will receive a confirmation email in your inbox. If not, check the spam folder. Open it and click the link to confirm your email.
6. Congratulations! You have successfully created your account.

Don’t worry if you forget your username because you can use your email address instead.

This message appears when you still need to verify your account.

We sent you an email after you initially signed up for our platform that contains a link for you to verify your account credentials. Make sure to check your spam folder if you cannot find it in your inbox.

To change your password, navigate  to student.canopylab.com/login, click on “Forgot password?” and follow the instructions.

To meet security standards, your  password must include at least one capital letter, one lowercase letter, and one number. All passwords must contain a minimum of 8 characters.
