COVID-19 has hit us like a shockwave. Overnight all of our routines and social relations have been disrupted. The physical infrastructure we once used to create learning experiences has been temporarily closed, and we have been forced to start using a series of new digital tools at an unprecedented pace.
Through TeacherLAB you will have access to more than 40 courses designed to empower you to master new digital tools, online pedagogy and relationships with students and parents, with the support of a global network of teachers.
The educational model and the sterway we teach have been transformed more since the onset of 2020 than the past 100 years combined. While students, coordinators, and principals each work to define and adjust to this “new normal” many of us, teachers, have been left fending for ourselves. The ripple effect of COVID-19 is that we get to reexamine and redefine who we are as teachers.
At CanopyLAB we are a team of current and former teachers, and during COVID-19 we have spoken to more than 2500 teachers worldwide. Based on our collective experiences, worries, and hopes, we have designed an interactive learning platform that enables teachers to support teachers while gaining access to state-of the art knowledge related to remote teaching and blended learning.
Through TeacherLAB you will have free access to 40+ courses. The courses are designed for teachers by teachers, and come at beginners-, intermediate- and advanced level. The 40+ courses are structured into 10 different course series with different focus areas:
